The Way to Success as a Lash Artist

What is the way to success for a lash artist?
What does it mean to be a truly happy lash master?

Is success something that depends only on us? Or is it true that some people achieve success more easily because they are lucky?

Very often we run and run toward success without realizing that the answer is actually inside us.

I have been working in the eyelash extensions industry and teaching lash training courses for more than 8 years. During this time I have met hundreds of lash artists and students from different countries.

And I noticed that around 90% of lash masters belong to one of three categories.

Category 1 – Lash Masters Who Work Like Robots

The first category is lash artists who work day and night.

They attend every eyelash extension training, every conference and every master class.

They never stop learning and improving their skills.

At the beginning they feel very happy and inspired by their work. But after a few years something changes.

I often see sadness in their eyes.

They become extremely tired, their relationships may suffer and sometimes they lose their passion for the lash industry.

Why does this happen?

Because they cannot separate work from their personal life.

I understand this feeling very well because I was also a victim of this situation.

There was a period in my life when I completely lost inspiration for my work in eyelash extensions and lash training.

Category 2 – Lash Artists Who Stop Developing

The second category includes lash artists who love their work and manage to balance work and family life.

But they are afraid to develop further.

Sometimes I hear these words:

“I feel comfortable where I am. I don’t need more training. I already have a good job.”

These lash artists are not lazy and not selfish, but something prevents them from improving their skills.

For me personally this mindset is difficult to accept.

Because in the beauty industry there is no stability without development.

Continuous learning through lash training courses and professional eyelash extension education is the only way to grow.

If you feel that you belong to this category right now — do not be afraid to change it.

Category 3 – Lash Artists Who Meet “Mr. Laziness”

The third category includes lash artists who sometimes meet a very dangerous character — Mr. Laziness.

They love their work and have already achieved some results in their career.

But at some point they stop improving their skills.

Sometimes we tell ourselves:

“I worked so much already. I’m a good lash artist. I don’t need any more lash training courses.”

Of course rest is important.

But sometimes we simply lie to ourselves.

While we feel sorry for ourselves, someone else is improving their skills, attending professional eyelash extension training, and becoming better every day.

The 20% of Truly Happy Lash Artists

Only about 20% of the lash artists I know are truly balanced and happy.

These lash masters have harmony between work and family.

They are not depressed, they are not lazy and they never stop learning.

They attend eyelash extension training courses, develop new ideas and continue improving their techniques.

At the same time they still have time to:

• go to the cinema with their partner
• spend time with their children
• relax and enjoy life

They inspire people around them.

Do you think they are simply lucky?

No.

They were probably in one or even all of the categories I described before.

But they managed to find balance.

Continuous Learning Is the Key to Success

Some people need one year to reach this balance.
Others need several years.

The most important thing is to listen to your inner voice and continue improving your skills.

If you started working with eyelash extensions, it means that you truly love this profession.

And if you love it — never be afraid to improve it.

Attend professional eyelash extension training courses, learn new techniques and become better than you were yesterday.

But at the same time remember to appreciate yourself and your family.

Because they are your strongest support in life.

Today I feel very grateful to be in this balanced category of lash artists. 🙏🏼
