Speed of Work in Eyelash Extensions
🖤 Speed of Work 🖤
My lash queens, let’s talk about what affects our speed of work in eyelash extensions and how to become faster without losing quality.
Many lash artists want to increase their speed, but at the same time maintain beautiful and clean volume eyelash extensions.
I created a list of the most important factors that influence our working speed.
Experience
The first and most obvious factor is experience.
The more experience you have in eyelash extensions, the faster and more confident your work becomes.
Practice helps you improve both speed and quality.
Professional Lash Tweezers
Your lash tweezers also affect the speed of your work.
It is very important to find professional lash tweezers that perfectly fit your hands and your working technique.
Tweezers should not be too heavy and should allow you to control every lash easily.
High-quality lash tools and eyelash extension supplies make the work much faster and more comfortable.
Techniques of Forming Volume Fans
Another important factor is the technique you use to create volume fans.
There are many techniques for working with volume lashes for eyelash extensions.
Personally, I know both the manual fan technique and tape technique, but I prefer my own author manual technique because it allows me to work very quickly.
During my training courses I teach different techniques for creating perfect fans.
But I always tell my students:
You should know different methods, but you must become the best in your personal technique.
Lash Glue
Your lash glue for eyelash extensions also has a big influence on speed.
Glue should be perfect for:
• your working speed
• your salon conditions
• your technique.
When you find the right professional lash glue, your work becomes much faster and more stable.
Comfortable Workplace
Your workplace also affects your speed.
A comfortable chair, correct body position and a good professional lamp are very important for lash artists.
Working with well-organized lash supplies and eyelash extension products also saves a lot of time.
Prepare all your tools, lashes and glue before the client arrives.
This helps you work more efficiently.
The Human Factor
Of course, there is also a human factor.
I know many lash artists who have 5–7 years of experience, but still work very slowly.
At the same time, I know masters who work very fast and create beautiful volume eyelash extensions.
Speed depends on concentration and discipline.
Tips to Increase Your Speed
If you want to increase your speed of work, remember these simple rules:
🔺 focus on your work
🔺 avoid using your phone during the procedure
🔺 do not talk too much while working
🔺 prepare all your lash supplies and tools before the client arrives
Over time these habits will help you work faster without losing quality.
My lash queens, tell me:
How long does it take you to create a 3–4D volume set? 🤍
